Children's TherAplay Sibling Camp 2017

In this special one-day camp for the brothers and sisters of Children's TherAplay kiddos, the siblings (ages 4-12 years) will rotate through fun activities throughout the day including treasure hunts, arts and crafts, horseback riding (of course!), pony painting, and “working” in the barn.

The 2017 Sibling Camp will be held Thursday, June 29
from 9 a.m. - 3:15 p.m., right here at Children's TherAplay

The fee, which is based on cost recovery, is $65 per child.

Would you like to help make this a day for the Children's TherAplay siblings to remember?

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help organize the event, serve as group leaders, oversee activity stations, and find restaurants that are willing to donate lunch and snacks for the kiddos. Contact Breinne at (317) 872-4166 x3100 or for more details.

There are 25 spaces available for siblings of the kiddos we currently treat. Registration begins Monday, May 1 and is on a first-come-first-serve basis. You can sign up on the door to the clinic, by calling us at (317) 872-4166, or by emailing Breinne.

Important note: Payment and camp paperwork must be received by Wednesday, June 14 or the space will be released to a child on the Sibling Camp waiting list.

Update: All spots for the 2017 Children's TherAplay Sibling Camp have
been spoken for but you may ask to have your child placed on the waiting list.

Please note

As much as we would love to be able to open the camp to nieces, nephews, cousins, and other children, this camp is just for the brothers and sisters of those children who are currently in treatment at Children's TherAplay. Thanks for understanding.

Horseback riding and arts and crafts and water balloons, oh my!

Therapy horse Rocky had so much fun at Sibling Camp 2016 that he made an online scrapbook. Enjoy it here.

Why Sibling Camp?

We do our best to provide pediatric occupational and physical therapies in a joy-filled manner, and it shows in the smiles on our kiddos' faces. In fact, we often hear from parents that our kiddos don’t realize how hard they’re working. To them, it seems like play!

So it’s only natural for their siblings, who watch their brothers’ and sisters’ “playtime” from the Children's TherAplay waiting room, to wonder, “Do I get a turn?”

Thanks to our very special staff and volunteers, each summer at Sibling Camp we get to say, “Yes! Come and play with us.”
