Lisa Kobek

Executive Director

Prior to joining TherAplay in 2011, Lisa spent her career in both the for-profit and not-for-profit worlds. As Vice President of Resort Services at RCI, the world’s largest timeshare exchange company, she was responsible for client service delivery to nearly 1,200 resort affiliates located throughout the U.S. and Caribbean.

Lisa’s not-for-profit experience began by joining Christel House, an international children’s charity, as its Director of Development. While there, she launched the Christel House Open, a global charity golf tournament. Within ten years of its debut, the event raised $7M for Christel House.  Lisa has also served on the board of a local race horse rescue organization and assisted a Ball State University professor in the start-up planning of a 501(c)(3) charity organization.

As the proud mother of a hearing impaired daughter who holds her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and teaches at a university, children with special needs hold a special place in Lisa’s heart. A previous owner and life-long admirer of horses, Lisa has a strong appreciation for that unique bond between human and horse and the corresponding benefits.

Outside of TherAplay Lisa and her husband look forward to spending time with friends and family – especially their grandson. A Butler University alumnus, Lisa can be seen (or better yet heard) cheering for the Dawgs.

Breinne Lasley

Administrative Manager & Volunteer Coordinator

Upon graduating from Ball State University in 2000, Breinne travelled around the United States for a few years finally settling in Fort Collins, Colorado. It was there that she began her career in the non-profit world at the Loveland Boys and Girls Club as a Program Coordinator. When she wasn't working or playing in the mountains, she volunteered at a horse ranch, hoping to gain enough knowledge and experience to someday join the equine world. As fate would have it, soon after moving back to Indiana, she was introduced to, and fell in love with TherAplay. In January of 2005, Breinne proudly joined the TherAplay Team as the Office Manager. She has since become TherAplay's Administrative Manager and Volunteer Coordinator.

Breinne lives in Fishers with her husband Josh, their son Abram, and their two rescue dogs Scout and Mindy. A few of her passions include music, animals, and the outdoors.

Diane McOmber

Billing Manager

Diane joined the TherAplay team in April 2010.

A lifelong resident of central Indiana, she attended Indiana University and graduated with a BS degree in Elementary Education.  She pursued her MS degree at Butler University and taught in the Indianapolis Public School System.

For fifteen years she was the owner/director of a dance school in Carmel, IN.  She was also the artistic director of the Community Dance Foundation, a not-for-profit children's dance company.  Both the school and the dance company allowed her the opportunity to teach and mentor through daily interaction with the children.

When not working, Diane likes to spend time traveling, reading, shopping and entertaining friends and family.

Toni Nelson

Operations Manager / Bookkeeper

Toni is our resident global traveler. Prior to joining TherAplay in 2011, Toni spent a number of years in the travel and hospitality industry. Her career experiences took her, among other places, to Moscow and Singapore. In both these locations, Toni established and managed offices for RCI, the world’s largest timeshare exchange company. Until she learned conversational Russian, grocery store shopping trips typically resulted in “pot luck” dinners. Toni still loves surprises.

Following her tenure with RCI, Toni joined Christel House International, an international children’s charity and in doing so, was introduced to the not-for-profit world. While at Christel House, in addition to operations, Toni helped launch and manage fundraising, marketing and public relations efforts.

Toni and her husband Bill built IRUS IRUS Stables in Lebanon, Indiana and operated it for 14 years.Toni’s respect and knowledge of horses along with her passion for helping children and her professional experience help make her a great asset to the TherAplay team.
