Shani Sutton

Barn/Equine Program Manager

Shani Sutton joined Theraplay in 2008 as a way to stay involved with horses. She has been on the TherAplay Hoe-Down planning committee for several years and was excited to get more involved last year. Her love of horses started when she went to horse camp at age eight and has stuck with her ever since.

After graduating from Indiana University, Shani worked for Estee Lauder for 15 yrs. She now juggles working for TherAplay, the American Hippotherapy Association and Circle City Equestrian. In her spare time she loves traveling, reading, spending time with friends and family and loving on her Italian Greyhound, Madison.

Ginger Santos

Horse Handler

Ginger joined TherAplay in 2010. Her love of horses began with pre-school age rides on her grandfather's Shetland pony. She began volunteering at a therapeutic riding center in 2008 after being laid off from her job of 14 years. She quickly fell in love with the therapeutic riding concept, and her path eventually led her to the worderful world of Theraplay's pediatric center. She is a member of PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International) and is currently pursuing her certification as a therapeutic riding instructor.

Ginger lives in Broad Ripple with her 2 cats. She does pet sitting in her spare time and she enjoys horse back riding, gardening, motorcycling and kayaking.
