Kraft
Secretary
Paul Kraft is co-founder and administrative principal of
Frank & Kraft, one of the leading law firms in Indiana in
the area of estate planning as well as business and tax
planning.
Mr. Kraft assists clients primarily in the areas of estate
planning and administration, Medicaid planning, federal and
state taxation, real estate and corporate law, bringing the
added perspective of an accounting background to his work.
In addition to his practice, Mr. Kraft has lectured
extensively in the areas of living trust planning, Medicaid
planning, and presenting public and private seminars on the
importance of proper estate planning. He has also authored
various articles on estate planning and is a contributing
author of LEGACY: Plan, Protect, and Preserve Your
Estate--Practical Answers from America's Foremost Estate
Planning Attorneys.
Experience
Mr. Kraft is a co-founder of the Indiana Network of Estate
Planning Professionals, a charter member of the American
Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys and a founding member
of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys.
Education
Mr. Kraft graduated from Indiana University with a
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1983, and completed his
Juris Doctor at the Indiana University School of
Law-Indianapolis in 1986. As an undergraduate, he was
elected to two honor societies. While in law school Mr.
Kraft passed the Comprehensive Uniform Certified Public
Accountant exam in one sitting.
Personal
Paul, his wife Sherri, and their two children live in the
Indianapolis area. He is actively involved as President of
the board of directors of a local nursing home, as well as
in the rehabilitation of historic buildings in downtown
Indianapolis.

Caroline
Young
Board
President
Caroline Young is the Associate General
Counsel at Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Company, Inc. (“HKW”),
a private equity firm headquartered in New York City with
offices in Chicago and Indianapolis. HKW concentrates
on acquiring and building niche manufacturing businesses and
currently has thirteen portfolio companies located
throughout the continental United States.
Caroline assists the management teams of
HKW’s portfolio companies on a variety of legal matters.
Her work includes contract negotiations, real estate work,
litigation oversight, advising on employment matters,
working with lenders and assisting with the acquisition
process. Prior to joining HKW, Caroline practiced law
at the Indianapolis law firm Wooden & McLaughlin, LLP for
nine years. At Wooden & McLaughlin, Caroline was a
trial attorney whose case load included complex commercial
litigation, product liability and professional malpractice
cases.
Caroline received her BA from the
University of Vermont, summa cum laude, and her JD
from the University of Virginia, School of Law.
Caroline was first attracted to TherAplay
because of her love of horses and children.
Caroline started out with TherAplay as a volunteer,
assisting on a regular basis as a side walker for therapy
sessions. Taken by the special children, the
dedicated staff and the clear effectiveness of
equine-assisted therapy, Caroline joined TherAplay’s Board
in 2004. Caroline’s legal background is a valuable
asset for her work with the Board.
Caroline resides in Indianapolis with her
husband, Joe, and their two children. |

Jeff
Chapman
Past
President
Jeff brings a wealth of experiences and personal insight to
the TherAplay Board of Directors. He has worked in
consumer and sports marketing, shaping the brands and market
messages for some of the state’s premier organizations.
Jeff’s
involvement with TherAplay’s board helps to ensure the
long-term financial viability of the organization. He
is also on the board for the United Cerebral Palsy of
Greater Indiana.
His daughter
Mallory has participated with TherAplay since 1999 and has
shown tremendous progress in her strength, balance and trunk
control. Jeff believes that TherAplay is an important
part of Mallory’s overall therapy program. He has seen
Mallory’s response to TherAplay, and is working to make
TherAplay available to other disabled children and adults.
He resides in
Carmel with his wife, Michele, and three daughters. |

John Kite
Director
Mr. Kite is
responsible for strategic direction, operating results and
all operating divisions of the Kite Companies. He
joined Kite Development Corporation in 1990 as Chief
Financial Officer. In this role he was responsible for
project financing in excess of $350 million, negotiating
with banks and private investors, and restructuring
investments in Kite projects. In 1994 he became
President of KMI Realty Advisors, an SEC registered
full-service real estate advisory firm which oversees in
excess of $500 million of diverse real estate holdings.
Prior to his involvement with Kite Companies he was Business
Development Officer for Harris Trust and Savings Bank in
Chicago.
Mr. Kite received his Bachelor of Art in Economics at DePauw
University. He is an active member of the community,
supporting the following organizations: International
Council of Shopping Centers, Young Presidents Organization
and The Children's TherAplay Foundation, Inc.
