TherAplay in a nonprofit outpatient pediatric rehabilitation clinic - which means we provide physical therapy and occupational therapy for children with disabilities.
TherAplay is a unique clinic, as we incorporate horses as one of our treatment tools within physical and occupational therapy. Using a horse in physical, occupational or speech therapy is called "Hippotherapy".
Our therapists combine a "traditional" clinic setting with physical and occupational therapy on horseback (Hippotherapy) to maximize results.
Each child's sessions are designed to achieve individual therapeutic goals, which are determined by the TherAplay treatment team in conjunction with the patient and their family. Sessions are one-on-one and utilize the treatment tools in our child-friendly clinic as well as the horse as a tool.
