The Race Across America will start in Oceanside, CA on June 13, 2008. Our team plans to train hard and complete our journey in less than a week, ending in Annapolis, MD. You will be able to follow our progress on the official RAAM Web site: www.raceacrossamerica.orgWe’d like to invite you to support Team TherAplay, www.childrenstheraplay.org who is competing in the 2008 Race Across America to raise funds for The Children’s TherAplay Foundation, Inc. TherAplay is an Indianapolis-based rehabilitation clinic that integrates horses as a therapy tool. The therapists, volunteers and staff at TherAplay help children who are faced with a variety of challenges, including cerebral palsy, autism and muscular dystrophy. They treat children regardless of their families’ ability to pay.
We hope to emerge victorious
in both the physical challenge of racing successfully and
our fundraising challenge. Our goal is to raise more than $40,000
to support horse-assisted therapy for children at TherAplay.
