Katy came to Children's TherAplay in May 2019, after graduating from University of Indianapolis with her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2015. Following graduation, Katy spent time in China with her husband caring for children with special needs in an orphanage. While there, she taught them important occupational skills, as well as connected with a local hippotherapy facility!
Katy loves working at TherAplay, and getting to see children achieve things they may have formerly thought impossible. In her free time, she loves being around all things related to food: trying new restaurants, gardening, or cooking. If it tastes good, she's there! Katy has also traveled to 25 different countries, and looks forward to visiting more!
