Watch the media take on the mechanical bull

Children's TherAplay Hoe-down

Wait, who's riding the mechanical bull?

When you think of media personalities, you think of intrepid journalists, broadcasters, and bloggers, yes? Bull-riding superstars? Not so much. At least not usually.

But at the 2018 Children's TherAplay Hoe-Down about a dozen of the fine folks from RTV 6, HANK FM, the Indy Star, IntoIndy.com, NBC Sports, IndyBoozeMuse.com, and CBS 4 are taking on the mechanical bull and each other to help raise funds and awareness for treatment at Children's TherAplay.

So who won the local media bull-riding competition?!?

“I had the opportunity to meet and work with [Children’s TherAplay founder] Craig Dobbs when he was awarded RTV6’s Jefferson Award.

The coverage on Children’s TherAplay gave me the opportunity to learn about the incredible impact this organization has on so many Central Indiana children with special needs and their families.

I feel humbled to participate in this fundraiser to raise awareness for this powerful program that is really making a difference in our community.”
